Job Description :
• This role is responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of Client-Server based configuration and management systems for our Picocell and Femtocell products.
• The role also includes integration developing unit tests, assisting in the development of the OMCR architecture & mentoring other team members.

Responsibilities :
• Design, develop and maintain application software and unit tests for Java / Linux based Network Management System
• Produce and review technical specifications and design documentation
• Perform developer and component level integration testing
• Prepare estimates and provide input to the release planning process
• Address issues assigned as part of support & maintenance.
• Provide support to other functional areas as part of the maintenance and testing phases
• As required, assist team leader in reviewing software development activities and deliverables of other team members, verify estimates & mentor team members
• As required, provide support and technical input to the architect.
• Assist in communications between the architect and development team
• Hands on Experience with UML, Design Patterns and EJB will be beneficial.
• Exposure in JBoss, MySQL, JUnit, Swing technology, Developing scripts for UNIX based Operating Systems, Software build system experience including Writing Ant scripts, use of Maven would be an added advantage.
